If you’re anything like me life is busy. You run around all day after the kids, trying to get bits of work done as well as keeping some kind of semi order around the house. I have lists in my head, lists written down, lists in my phone and never reach the end of them. My own wellbeing is right down the bottom of the list.
I know I’m not alone is putting myself last which is why Nestle Fitness have launched The Tweeting Bra, to raise awareness of Breast Cancer.
The bra has a built-in low voltage Bluetooth unit in the hook, so every time it’s taken off the bra sends a signal to a mobile phone which sends a tweet. Greek actress Maria Bakodimou will be wearing the bra for two weeks in November, every time she unhooks it, if you follow the twitter account, you’ll see the tweet, reminding you to examine yourself. How clever is that? Even though I am always so busy I do generally find the time to check twitter and facebook.
Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in the UK with around 55,000 people being diagnosed each year. It’s so important we are all aware of what to check and actually do it!
What can you do?
