A Christmas Marshmallow Twizzler

On a tuesday after school, Z and I go to a coffee shop where he has a hot chocolate with marshmallows and I have big latte. Sometimes for a special treat he has a marshmallow twizzler on the side, which he LOVES, so we tried to make a Christmas one at home.

Ingredients

  • A stick
  • marshmallows
  • melted chocolate
  • mini snowflakes ( we got ours from Morrisons )

Place two marshmallows on stick, dip in the chocolate, sprinkle with mini snowflakes and leave to set.

Some snowflakes sneaked into our chocolate.

Then because I melted a bit too much chocolate..

I love the concentration on S’s face – I bet she’s dying to lick that spoon!
These look great. I went to a shop in Canada once full of marshmallows on sticks covered in chocolate with all kinds of toppings – who would’ve thought they would be so popular!

These are great. Will have to make these with the kids. I bought some Christmas tree shaped marshmallows from either Tesco or Asda and I was wondering what we could use them for….now I know 🙂
