How often do you change your toothbrush? Did you know the recommended time to keep a toothbrush is only 3 months?
I tend to brush too hard so the bristles on mine get worn down very quickly which means I do change mine frequently. The children’s brushes usually end up falling behind the toilet or on occasion in the toilet, so I change theirs often as well, my husband is probably a different matter.
Even if you only keep a toothbrush for a couple of months, thats quite a long time for nasties to grow between the bristles. This short video from Colgate is very funny, but with a serious message behind it. It has actually made me want to change my toothbrush now! There is also an amusing game on the Colgate Facebook page, where you have to find the nasties in between photo’s of your friends. I’d recommend giving it a go, the most I managed was 13.
