The Gallery this week is 3 words.
The three words going round in my head this week are ‘Can he cope’.
‘He’ being my lovely husband and the ‘him coping’ referring to when he will look after our three little terrors gorgeous children on Saturday while I am at CyberMummy. Before you all chorus ‘he will be fine, what are you worrying about’, let me point out that this is the person who put our 2 week old baby boy on an ironing board while he rooted around his wardrobe for a T shirt. In his defense he would say that Z had never moved and what were the chances of him suddenly deciding to roll over, whilst 4 foot up in the air. I would have said why take the chance when there was a bed just as handy.
Only last week he put the hot tap on whilst S was in the bath then wandered off to get his phone while I rescued her before she was scalded! Then put baby H’’s PJ bottoms on Little S ( there’s only 2 years between them ) and wondered why they didn’t cover S’s bum.
In my 4 years of being a parent, I have perfected the skill of having a following a conversation with one person whilst answering a question from Z, feeding baby H and stopping S causing chaos elsewhere. My husband sadly does not have the same prowess. He very politely focuses all his attention on the person talking to him, while the kids run riot round them.
To say I am a little worried is an understatement. He assures me that when I am not there he is all-seeing and all-hearing. I hope this is true!
The longest he has ever had all three before is about 3 hours, so Saturday will definitely be a ummm interesting for all.
