I can’t tell you how nice it was to see some snow yesterday. For weeks my phone app has been saying snow, snow, snow but nothing arrived.
Snow in lockdown was just the thing we all needed after a long few weeks of home learning. It was lovely to see the kids smiling and happy to be outdoors. One very easy, happy day in a bit of a gloomy month.
Oh it was just the best day wasn’t it!! I think it was just what the doctor ordered. Although I was regretting my enthusiasm this morning when I had to drive on the A roads at 30 MPH because the roads were so bad still!
I hope we get the predicted snow next weekend to.

We were over the moon too when the snow came. It only snowed yesterday and already it’s vanishing. Wow, love the snowman it’s better than our attempt.

I remember the joy of snow days when I was younger. A day off from school was such fun then, we’d play outside until dark came.
I agree that a snow day was exactly what we all needed! We went for a walk and built a snowman plus had snowball fights!

Fab pictures! My boys didn’t want to make a snowman, they only wanted to have snowball fights LOL. They moaned about being cold quite quickly though so we didn’t manage to get any sledding in!
