We made these bug rocks and pinecones for an art project last summer. They turned out so well and were very easy to make. All you need are some nice smooth stones, pinecones, googly eyes and pipe cleaners.
If you wanted to use them as rocks to hide remember to leave the googly eyes off so animals can’t eat them. You’d also need to spray them a waterproof varnish.
