I am not a big fan of the sun, for me it means factor 50 and hiding in the shade, but I can’t deny that with sun generally comes a lot of fun. We spent the weekend planting sunflowers, beans and peas, chasing each other around the garden and scooting to the park. It was lovely, and gave us some much needed family time with lots of giggles and ice lolly’s.
We couldn’t fill the paddling pool because of the hose pipe ban so had to resort to water pistols instead!

Gotta love a water pistol. Especially with boys!! My two were drenched on the weekend (biggest very sadistic water pistol fighter, however….)
