Living Arrows 7/52

February 14, 2014 by admin 19 Comments

Motherhood is full of contradictions, sometimes I crave a peace and quiet, but then miss the noise and bustle when everyone is out. I always look forward to school and nursery pick up. Seeing S’s little face peeping out through her classroom door never fails to make me smile.ย I’ve been looking forward to half term for weeks and then today it’s been bicker, bicker, bicker all day long.

This drawing made by S at school last week, made my heart break and smile all at the same time.ย

Ah that’s so lovely! I can’t wait until Cherry can write me letters, although I can remember leaving horrible ones for my mum too! x

Awww, not just me then. But distance makes the heart grow fonder and I feel the same way when I am at work, relieved to get a hot cup of tea but sad that I miss my babies. Makes it all the nicer to get a big cuddle and shouts of Mummy as I walk through the door. Being a mum eh, an extreme emotional roller coaster. Gorgeous drawing too ๐Ÿ™‚
