A busy week

Published: Nov 30, 2015 by admin · This post may contain affiliate links or sponsored content

This week has gone by so fast I barely registered it happened. In fact most of November has been a blur. Each year I plan on being organised and then Christmas sort of appears without me realising.

The girls are super excited about their Christmas plays, Syd is thrilled to be a Robin and has the cutest little song and dance to to do. Hannah is an Angel, which reminds me I really must make her halo this evening.

Can you tell I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed??

I was so organised for a bit there, but hey ho! Happiness is more important, it all gets there in the end. Catching the magical moments like this is so much lovelier xx

Tell me about it! I seem to recall sitting there all smug sometime in October thinking – this will be the year that I really get organised and make Christmas happen properly. Now I’m sat here on the 1st December thinking – what on earth happened to November???

The good thing about our school’s Christmas plays is that you aren’t expected to provide costumes – a great relief.

At least you’re not alone. I think we’re all overwhelmed at this time of year. I hope you/we get to enjoy it too – the play sounds particularly lovely!

Luckily none of mine have plays this year, just two carol concerts so no costumes need sorting! Hope you manage to get everything sorted.

My son has continually been singing his Christmas concert songs this week. I think he’ll be the loudest in the class!

I’m not going to tell you that I’m all bought and wrapped 😉

There really is so much going at at this time of year though isn’t there – it seems like you need to be in two places at once and have at least an extra five hours in the day x x

I love that my boys school does the outfits so parents do not have to. This is my big boys last christmas play and they are not doing a play, they are having a concert instead. I am totally overwhelmed!

I love this time of year but it’s hard not to be overwhelmed… the plays sound ace! Enjoy and if it gets too much can I suggest more chocolate and wine.

Oh goodness, it does get totally bonkers doesn’t it?! I no longer have to make costumes – last one last year *sobs* – but I do have a lot of taxiing about to do, and they all seem to need me to be in different places at the SAME TIME!

It’s exhausting! I have lists of lists and a weekly plan written with EVERYTHING I have to remember at the moment.
    It’ll pass I’m sure

Sounds like you’ve been super super busy! I hope the plays went without a hitch. We’ve not been asked to make a costume so I’m hoping we don’t get a last minute request to make something! Poppy seems to think she’s King Herod but she’s being a bit vague so we’ll have to wait and see next week. I know what you mean about the time, I seem to have lost the whole of November. And it’s Poppy’s birthday on Christmas Day! Hope you’re all good 🙂
