Watch The Match

First, you should make sure that you are booking a trip to watch a match. This is perfect even if you are not interested in football. For instance, you might be surprised at how quickly you feel as though you are part of a brand new crowd of people. This can be both invigorating and intoxicating. Something to be aware of is that there’s no commentary when you head to a football match. As such, you do need to make sure that you are getting the best seats possible.

Grab A Bite To Eat

Next, you should make sure that you are getting a bite to eat. There are lots of wonderful places to dine around Norwich including a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy some afternoon tea. It’s a lovely spot for enjoying everything from a great classic cup of tea to a lovely slice of cake. There’s even some great views from some of the best spots to dine around Norwich.

Cruise The Waterways

The river Wensum runs all the way through Norwich and the waterways were once a vital commodity. Nowadays, they serve as a recreational activity where you can hire a boat to enjoy your trip away. If you don’t want to drive the boat yourself then you can hop onboard for someone else to give you a ride up and down the river.

Norwich Castle

Here we have a defining landmark on the Norwich skyline. Dating way back to the 12th century, Norwich Castle is beautiful and a must-see on your travels. Norwich castle is far more than a building, it is home to many secrets, jewels, and fine art collections. If you are interested in learning about the history of this majestic place then you can join a guided tour. You will wander through the Victorian dungeons where you can hear many intriguing stories about previous prisoners.

Hit The Market

Finally, Norwich is home to a wonderful market that is over 900 years old, and still thriving to this day. Norwich market is one of the largest and oldest in Britain, and it isn’t just on the weekend. You can hit the market everyday if you want to, however, it is worth checking with individual vendors as they actually appear between Tuesdays and Sundays. There are a whole host of different vendors at this market, so if you’re hungry then you can be sure to fill your tummy. You can also find a large selection of boutique stalls with unique items.

We hope this helps you understand some of the key reasons why Norwich is a great place to visit filled with adventure, possibility and beautiful historical sites. So, with that in mind, why not book your trip today?
