Humpty Dumpty and the Dinosaurs

July 17, 2011 by admin

My 4 year old decided today he wanted to write a story, which involved him dictating to me.

I wrote it down exactly as he said it, so excuse the grammar, and I apologise for the violence.

One day  there was Humpty Dumpty and Humpty Dumpty lived in a cottage then dinosaur’s kissed Humpty Dumpty and then the marks from the footprints came from the dinosaurs. Then the sun went down and the dinosaur’s shooted Humpty Humpty and then the dinosaur’s ate the chimney and then the dinosaur’s had a great big breakfast when the sun went up and then all lived happily ever after. Then the wolves and dogs came and the wolves ate the dogs and then they all lived happily ever after. Kiss kiss kiss.

    Beautiful!
How awful for Humpty Dumpty to be duped like that though, but I’m glad the dinosaurs and wolves are all OK

That’s hysterical. What did the dogs do to deserve being eaten? Dinosaurs rule the day!

Thanks for linking it up to ShowOff ShowCase.

I know, and he’s had such a sheltered life. The only things he watches on TV are Octonauts and Peppa Pig!
