Home » I WANT….

I WANT….

July 4, 2012 by admin 18 Comments

Just recently my beautiful, placid, baby H has turned into a very demanding but funny little girl. The transformation crept up on me,  one minute she was a needy baby gurgling at me and then all of a sudden she turned into a feisty little monkey with her own opinions and a big voice.

She insists on walking everywhere.

‘I want it walk MUMMY’

she can ask for jam on toast

‘I want it JAM, MUMMY‘

she can ask to watch TV

”watch tele, Lola, MUMMY‘

Her sweet little voice can turn into a loud roar when she gets angry. If she doesn’t get here own way, she waves her arms around frantically and if that doesn’t work throws herself on the floor kicking her legs.

When I ask her to do something, she can answer me back.

‘in a minute Mummy, NO, MUMMY’

She asks me to hold her hand

‘hand Mummy‘

then both hands

‘more hands Mummy‘

She can ask for cuddles

‘I want cuddle Mummy‘

‘I want it kiss, Mummy‘

‘More kiss Mummy‘

She loves books.

‘Read it worm please’

If Z or S call her a name she says ‘I not poo poo/silly/naughty, I H, I gawjus‘

and she is gorgeous ( gawjus ) isn’t she?

She is, indeed, gorgeous! And what a little character she’s clearly turning into. I love that bit when children suddenly start to realise the power of words and that they can say things and cause effect. Such a fab learning curve, even if it is a bit tougher for mummy. x
