Play, wash and learn™ bath toy collection – Brother Max

Modified: Jul 24, 2017 · Published: Jul 1, 2011 by admin · This post may contain affiliate links or collaborative content.

Z is almost 4 and a half, and in that time we have been through a lot of bath toys. There have been the big clunky ones that are meant to stick to the side of the bath and just fall off, the squirty things that end up covered in a film of black goo and the little containers that seem to become drinking cups.

I’d pretty much resigned myself to the fact that we were going to have to discard and replace bath toys every few months or switch to showers, but then we were sent these amazing toys from Brother Max.

The toys are designed to be an introduction to how we wash ourselves. All have heat sensitive spots so you can tell if the water is too hot, which is a great safety feature. The twister flannel can be taken apart and washed, and the ring rattle and sponge stamper can be hand washed, which means you don’t have to buy new toys, you can just clean the ones you already have!

The range consists of:

Sprinkler bath toy  – fill and rinse

Twister bath toy – twist apart and wash

Bath toy brush – wash and brush

Sponge bath rattle – stamp and clean

Wear me bath rattle-  shake and wash

The bath toys are nice and chunky so even my one year old can hold them easily, but still interesting enough to engage my four year old. The favourite has to be the sprinkler cup, which the bigger two use to rinse each others hair and Baby H likes to fill up and watch the water fall. It also drains too fast for anyone to drink the water.

The video shows the toys in use.

The bath toys are BpA-free, Phthalate-free and PVC-free.

You can now buy each toy individually in store and online from JoJo Maman Bebe and Tesco and online from Amazon and Kiddicare. £4.99 each.

We went sent the bath toys to review, all words and opinions are my own.

Have you seen this brilliant sponge too? Baby H loves it!
