Summer Snaps

How are there only two weeks left of the holidays? I had so many plans for this summer and have hardly managed to do anything. Our summer sketch book is looking very empty, I haven’t done nearly as much work as I should have. It’s all just been a bit too busy. We still have gymnastics over summer which is nice in some ways as we keep a bit of routine, but does mean 3 out of 5 days we can’t have a whole day out.

We have very much enjoyed chilling out at home though, and our new garden has made a huge difference. The kids are so much happier playing out there, but more about that soon.

I’m going to be really upset when school starts again, can we have another week off please?

What beautiful pictures. Part of me is horrified that we have already had five weeks of holiday, but part of me is glad that there is only two weeks to go. I am sick of low level bickering this summer!

Lovely photos! I can’t believe the holidays are almost over. We haven’t finished much of our bucket list and I’m sad that we’ve spent so many days at home. The garden has been great though, especially as we were given a swing set and slide at the beginning of the holiday.

Lovely pictures! We’ve just moved to a place with a bigger garden too and it’s so nice to be able to pop the kids outside to play.
