Great Games for all the Family

Published: Nov 30, 2015 by admin · This post may contain affiliate links or sponsored content

We’ve been very busy testing a great selection of games from MEGABLEU over the last couple of weeks. You can see our review of Creepy Hand and Ghost Hunt Evolution here and today I’m going to tell you all about Cobra Attack, Tricking’ Camel and Alien Mission.

To be in with a chance of winning all FIVE games complete the Rafflecopter form at the bottom of this post.

Alien Mission

Alien Mission is a fun game for two or more players suitable for children aged 5 and over.  The game consists of 1 pair of goggles and 1 electronic gun.  The idea is to shoot the aliens using the infrared gun while avoiding the robots that appear inside the goggles. The winner is the player with the most points.

Players can choose one of three levels, but don’t forget to synchronise your gun with the goggles each time you change a level. The goggles feel very sturdy and great quality, all my children found them comfortable and easy to wear although we did have to adjust the straps between players.

The game also has four alien mission cards each worth an extra 2 points if you find them hidden around the house ( ask a friend to hide them before you play )

Requires 6AAA batteries – Not included.

TRICKIN’ CAMEL

Trickin’ Camel is just brilliant, it did take us a while to work out what to do, but since then the kids haven’t stopped playing it in their own unique way. Zak has to get everything perfectly right while Sydney quite happily gets the challenges wrong as she loves that the camel spits water at you. I even cought her putting squash in the camel’s mouth today…

Trickin’ Camel is our favourite of the 3 games.

You can choose between one and 4 players by selecting on a switch on the side of the game, and there are three different challenges. If you lose the camel spits water at you, but if you win you get to take a bottle from the camel’s back, the winner is the player with the most bottles. If the camel gets bored he will suddenly throw all the bottles from his back.

Challenges

1 – (Guessing) Follow the lights and try to remember which colour light was the last to flash. I found this quite difficult, but Zak seemed to find it easy.

2 – (Memory) Watch a light sequence and repeat it.

3: (Speed) The player has to press the corresponding button as fast as possible until the sequence stops.

Trickin’ Camel is for 1-4 players age 5 and over.

Requires 3 AA batteries  Not included.

COBRATTACK

Cobrattack is great fun even for 1 player ( as is Tricking’ Camel ) and recommended for children 5 and over.  The aim of the game is to take the emerald from the front of the basket before the snake catches you. The idea is that players walk towards the snake when his eyes are green, and stop when they’re red. The game has a motion sensor to detect movement, if the snake catches you  moving when you shouldn’t twice he jumps out of his basket and you’re out!

We’ve had lots of fun with this game too and I know it’ll be played a lot, especially when we have friends over to play.

Requires 4 AA batteries not included
