Being prepared for anything ( and a very lovely fancy dress outfit )

No one tells you when your children start school that as well as remembering book bags, lunch and water bottles you’ll also have to find with very little notice, random items for ‘show and share’, headgear to look like a firework  and our most recent one, a homemade drum and things to decorate a mask with!

I have learned over the last few months to keep a stock of art supplies ready for any last minute creating and to buy any fancy dress costumes that might be appropriate for book week, history week etc when I see them.

This fantastic Queen Elizabeth costume is perfect for such an occasion. It is  beautifully made, and excellent quality with fluted sleeves and a laced bodice. Perfect for school, playing in the house or could even be spooked up with some face paints and cobwebs for a fantastic Halloween outfit.

Also from the same range are some reversible capes, which I will be adding to my 5 year old’s Christmas list. I especially like the dragon/Knight one.

Fantastic accessories are also available such as bumblebee wings, rainbow halo’s, magic wands, crowns and swords. It really is an amazing range of fancy dress outfits!

We were sent the Queen Elizabeth costume for the purpose of this review, unfortunately it was a little too big for my tiny 4 year old, but she will love it when she grows into it.
