Happy First Birthday Baby H

Modified: Jun 21, 2019 · Published: Jul 23, 2011 by admin · This post may contain affiliate links or collaborative content.

Today my beautiful baby H is one year old. She has changed from a placid baby with messes of black hair to a lovely funny, giggly almost blonde little girl.

Dear Baby H ( or to give you your full name Hannah – pops pickle pants )

You have been a perfect baby this year, you hardly ever cry, ( if we forget the motorised car that got stuck in your hair incident) and sleep all night long for your mummy and daddy. You love to sing and read books, and smile as soon as anyone makes eye contact. We all adore you and you are showered with hugs and kisses all day long.

When you were born you had masses of jet black hair that stuck up on end. People would stop me in the street to say how lovely you were ( or tell me to brush your hair ).

You were a bit slow to get moving, but I think thats because Mummy was happy to have one child who was stationary so didn’t encourage you much. You can now pull yourself up on things and climb all the way up the stairs. You are quite taken by big brothers tiny lego pieces but have learned to hold them out in your hand and say ‘ta’ which is much better than trying to eat them.

You love it when Z plays his version of ‘duck, duck, goose’ with you and giggle away excitedly.

When I took you out in your sling yesterday you said ‘Hiya’ to everyone that walked past. You are such a happy, cheeky, funny little girl.

We love you baby H.
