Throwing a Doc McStuffins Party #Doctober

October 11, 2014 by admin Leave a Comment

We were lucky enough to co-host a Doc McStuffins twitter party last week with UKMumsTV, my little girls couldn’t believe their luck when a huge box of Doc McStuffins toys and gifts arrived.

Our first task was to test out the toys.

Doc McStuffins Doctors Bag Set

Every little Doc McStuffins fan needs a doctors bag, and this one is brilliant, you can see our full review here. The pieces are chunky, easy to hold and really good quality, my girls have played with this set a LOT, it’s worth every penny. The blood pressure gauge really spins and the light up, talking stethoscope is great fun.

Doc McStuffins Role Play Set

Again this is great quality and comes with a doctors coat, stripy top for underneath, pink sparkly headband, name badge and stethoscope. We LOVE it.

Carry Along Clinic Play Set

I have to admit, that initially I wasn’t sure about this set, as when you have the interactive panel attached to the clinic it’s not very stable, BUT my girls think it’s brilliant and have already played with it for hours on end. The whole thing is very neat in that it all packs away very compactly, but when opened up feels quite big. The detachable interactive panel plays music and phrases from the TV show, and you can swap the front section to change character. A small Lambie and 4 accessories are also included. This is quite expensive at £59.99, but has led to lots of fun role play games in our house, with many giggles and bandaged up toys along the way.

Mini doodler

Everyone was very happy to go home with a Mini doodler and Doc McStuffins Magazine, which was jam packed full with things to colour, sticker pages and stories, we’d definitely buy the magazine again.

The Party

We made plaster biscuits which were a big success and used our Doc McStuffins staws for a semi healthy chocolate milk snack mid party.

Pin the plaster on Stuffy was hilarious, I have a feeling we’ll be making our own sticky plasters and playing this again.

All in all we had a great party for #Doctober, did you join us on Twitter?

Thanks to UKMumsTV for sending us the products above, and watch out for more reviews coming soon.
