Friday Funny Week 10

Published: Oct 21, 2011 by admin · This post may contain affiliate links or sponsored content

I spent 3 days this week  holed up in the study trudging my way through my text books whilst my hubby looked after the kids. Most of that time I spent chuckling away at the chatter coming from the rest of the house. I never realised before just how noisy the house is and how there is never a second of silence.

It wasn’t even just talking, every now and then someone would shout “Bop a do wah” or start to sing something vaguely recognisable.

There were constant shouts of:

“look at me Daddy”, “and me”

“Am I funny?”, “Am I funnier”

“Look at me I can run in a circle/bend over/wipe my bum”

“Look what I’ve got, Na na na na na “

“I hungry Daddy”

Here are some of the best bits:

Little S banged her foot and cried a LOT so Rob said,

“Shall we get some peas for it”

S “Noooo, I want cheese and ham” ( it was nearly lunch time )

—–

S “I done a poo Daddy”

Daddy (exasperated tone) “where??”

—

Daddy “why is baby H crying?”

S “A car flew at her head, it was an accident”

I think Daddy enjoyed his time with the kids…although the swear jar is considerably fuller and I am still catching up on cleaning up. 🙂

Do you have a funny post to link up? I would LOVE to see it! I have a badge and everything now, but I can’t decide if it looks a bit scary…what do you think? You don’t have to use the badge either if you don’t want. 🙂

it must have been even funnier listening to that behind closed doors, a bit like a fly on the wall! Brilliant. I love the ‘I’ve done a poo!’ ‘Where?’ bit! x

So much of your day I could relate to – I’ve done a poo, where?, it was an accident, having to tidy up after daddy day and yes, so much noise…
