First week back

Published: Jan 10, 2016 by admin · This post may contain affiliate links or sponsored content

As it turns out a term time week is no calmer than the holidays. I have relished the chance to get on with bits of work this week and managed to concentrate on one thing for more than 5 minutes without a little voice asking for something, but after school has been pretty crazy busy. Sydney started a new club which involves three 20 minute trips a week, but she is loving the experience so far which is a huge relief, although I have had to swap around all of Hannah’s clubs and swimming lessons to work around our new commitment. Luckily Han has been exceptionally brave and despite a few tears before ballet has also adjusted well to her new schedule.

We’ve had a lovely day today, part of which involved a special treat in collaboration with Nestle Cereals for Breakfast week, but you’ll have to wait till breakfast week to find out more!

Between our special treat and meeting friends we managed a quick walk, it was just too nice a day to not take advantage of the sunshine for some camera practice.

What do you think?

I have found the first week back particularly stressful this year and have spent the weekend just trying to recover! Look forward to breakfast week. And your photos are Great! X

Gorgeous photos! My camera has been a bit temperamental lately, so combined with the bad weather, I’ve hardly taken any photos.
It’s always a nightmare having to juggle activities and shift them all around. Well done on achieving it without too much trauma!

I must admit to being pleased that the children have gone back to school, I have so much that I need to catch up on which I can’t do with them at home

Great photos Emma, the school week is certainly busy. I am forever driving the kids somewhere or someplace else.

    Your photos as amazing Emma!

It’s always chaos here whether they’re off school or it’s the holidays 😉

I’m another one who is in a way quite relieved that the kids have gone back to school. I love routine, and it seems so do they. We all work so much better when we have places to be at set times. It does all get a bit crazy with two kids needing to be in different places at the same time, but I like that in a weird kind of way.

So gorgeous, lovely to see some sun! The after school running about is making my brain ache, but kids are loving Lego, swimming, dance and theatre clubs – we never normally do much after school, but I think they are getting older.
