Friday Funny – The Nativity Issue

Published: Dec 9, 2011 by admin · This post may contain affiliate links or sponsored content

I watched Z’s first school nativity play yesterday, it was the cutest thing I have ever seen. Z walked in looking pretty terrified with his finger in his mouth, and sat there sucking his finger until it was time to speak. Throughout most of the songs he had his hand over his mouth, and at one point decided to roll up his trousers to the knee, even saying one of his lines whilst half bent over still rolling up his trousers.

Despite all that he was a little star, he reminded other children of their lines when they forgot and delivered his own lines perfectly.

Z has also had a whole heap of questions stemming from the play.

‘Mummy, can we go to Bethlehem to see baby Jesus, on a plane?’

‘Why did Herod want to shoot baby Jesus?’

‘Did God make people with screws?’

‘Where is Jesus now?’

I hope he asks his teacher all these questions too 🙂

Do you have a funny post from the last few weeks? I would love to read them. Please link up below.
