Living Arrows 8/52

March 3, 2014 by admin 12 Comments

I had a really lovely day with H last Friday. We started out making a bee crown, then she decided she wanted to make a bee paper chain and then found she could make the pipe cleaners into numbers so we made numbers 1-10 and did a bit of learning together.

It’s not often I get to spend one on one time with any of my children, and it really is so precious and special. Each of them are so different on their own than when part of the group. I know I need to make time to do it more often. H is at home with me three days a week when Z and S are at school, but even then mostly we are out and about or seeing friends. Time at home, just doing whatever we feel like really doesn’t happen very often at all.

This isn’t the greatest photo, but it made me smile. I love her cheeky little face.

Oh I love those days, they can seem pretty daunting when you have nothing planned but more often than not they turn out really lovely ๐Ÿ™‚ The crown is absolutely brilliant, and that face! Eep! *squishes*

I too love having some time with each of the children on their own. Erin gets a fair bit and I tend to spend time with Chloe taking her hockey or later in the evening when the other two are asleep. I find less time with Dyl but realised we have one hour just us on a Monday before Erin gets home.
