A Happy Memory – The Gallery

Published: Sep 14, 2011 by admin · This post may contain affiliate links or sponsored content

I thought really hard about which photograph to use this week. Recently we’ve had our 10 year anniversary, both the girls have had birthdays and Z has started school. All are big events that have triggered lots of happy memories.

I’ve been struggling a bit with 3 such small children lately, I sometimes feel like we just rush from nursery to school to friend’s houses to swimming or gymnastics without stopping to breathe. Poor little baby H gets dragged along to all those things, so I feel a bit sorry for her too.

This photo is me with Z, I look pretty rough, I think he was only a few days old, but it marked the beginning of the most amazing year. A wonderful, peaceful and calm year, nothing like the chaos we have now. Thats not to say I don’t enjoy the chaos, I do, but 5 minutes of peace would be nice every so often.

I’m not sure why Elmo is there, but he always make me smile too!

You look a little tired – but very content. It’s a lovely photo.

I think all the rushing around and chaos just creeps up on you and it’s easy to forget what it used to be like. I only have 1 kid & I stuggle, in awe of anyone who manages more!

Thanks Clare, you are right it does creep up on you. I did really appreciate that first year of just being able to stare at my baby all day long 🙂

Firstly you do not look rough at all, you look glowing and secondly it is on;t when you look back you realise how calm things were with one! When you have your first normally you don’t appreciate the time because your so anxious! Lovely Memory! x

Another vote for you SO don’t look rough, you look so happy. Elmo has made me laugh – he looks like he has come to life and is reporting on the scene behind him. Or perhaps it’s just me who thinks that, I’ll keep taking the tablets…

You both look gorgeous. I love it when they’re so tiny and sleepy all the time. At the time I didn’t appreciate how quiet F was. But I bloody miss it now! x

It’s hard to remember those quiet times isn’t it, I was only thinking this morning how I wished I’d cherished those moments when it was just Sam just a little bit more.
I love that Elmo is in this picture, you can’t help but smile!
