Britax B-Agile 3 Review

December 7, 2012 by admin 6 Comments

I’ve had a lot of pushchairs in the last 5  years, but have always ended up going back to the travel system we bought when I was pregnant with Z. The cheaper buggy type prams just didn’t seem as good.

Z is now 5 and my beloved first pushchair is falling apart, so the Britax B-Agile 3 came along at the perfect time.

The Britax B-Agile 3 arrived pretty much put together already, I just had to add the wheels and a few accessories and we were off. H couldn’t wait to try it out and had me pushing her around the house all morning.

I tend to use my pushchair mostly for the school run and shopping which means I have to be able to get it out of the car and assembled quickly. The B-Agile 3 has an aluminium chassis so is very light which means I can get it in and out of the boot easily and it flips up in one quick manovere, so literally takes no time at all.

To put it down you just pull a hook in the center of the seat and it folds up, brilliant! I’ve never owned a pushchair that is so easy to fold down, and that is so compact in the boot.

I love that the seat is wide and comfy and even lies flat so H can sleep, this also means it is suitable from birth.

Our walk to school goes over some rough ground, but the big puncture proof tyres, and easy steering make the walk easy. I often have to carry S and push H which has been hard in the past, but the steering is so light on the B-Agile 3 that I can do it with one hand easily. You can even lock the front wheels for extra stability.

The hood is large, and even extends which is great for keeping H dry on rainy mornings and even better for keeping her in the shade when the sun is out.

The 5 point safety harness means I know H is safe and the height adjustable straps keep her comfy.

The shopping basket is huge and easily accessible, another feature which comes in very handy.

All in all I am over the moon with the Britax B-Agile 3, and yes it has now become the pushchair I use the most.

The B-Agile 3 comes with a raincover, car seat adaptors and two year guarantee.

We were sent the pushchair for the purpose of this review.

Seriously awesome looking pushchair. I could do with one of these: our Quinny Zapp has just given up the ghost and this sounds like the perfect replacement for popping in and out of the car and all the other stuff that I need to do with Dimples
