What do grown ups do?

Z loves food, and not just cakes and biscuits he loves ALL food. He was most put out the other day when after dinner one night, he got a very small piece of cake, when he had seen me have a rather large one a few minutes before.

‘Mummy, I can’t wait to be a grown up so I can have big pieces of cake’

So, I asked S what she was most looking forward to about being a grown up.

‘errrrmmmm, tidying up’

So my children want to be grown ups who eat a lot of cake and tidy up. It should be easy to keep them happy.

What I like is the implication that all you do is eat cake and do tidying!
