Great places to see Father Christmas in Surrey

November 10, 2023 by admin Leave a Comment

Finding a fun and inexpensive place to visit Santa can be a challenge at this time of year.

To make it a bit easier, I’ve made a list of some of the best places in Surrey you can see Father Christmas in 2023.

If you’re near the Hampshire border take a look at my top picks for seeing Santa in Hampshire. If you’re near Berkshire and want to give the kids a big treat, Lapland UK is incredible! We also love LEGOland at Christmas too!

Ride the Santa Express

Take a ride on the Santa Express in the Surrey Hills. Kids get a ride on the train through the Denbies wine estate and a gift from Santa!

Bocketts Farm, Leatherhead

Bocketts Farm is running a special Christmas event which includes a ride on the trailer, a special meet and greet with Santa and a golden coin to spend in the shop! There’s also the opportunity to make reindeer food, take a photo inside the snow globe and enjoy the usual fun of the farm and soft play.

Godstone Farm

Godstone Farm is offering both day and dusk tickets to their Santa experience. The daytime ticket includes a special show, the usual farmyard animals and a visit to Santa and choose a gift!

Rural Life Centre Santa Specials

Visitors can ride on the steam train to visit Santa in his grotto, explore the Museum decorated for Christmas and do some last-minute shopping in the Christmas and Vintage market.

There’s also an elves workshop and fun crafts to do while children wait to see Santa!

Check the Rural Life website for dates and times.

Swingbridge Santa Cruise

Enjoy a family cruise with Santa down the River Wey with Swingbridge Santa Cruises. The cruise takes about 45 minutes and includes mince pies, mulled wine and a gift for the children.

Breakfast with Santa

Seasons restaurant in Windlesham usually runs a beautiful breakfast with Santa in the run up to Christmas. We visited in 2022 and loved it! The food was fantastic and Santa brilliant! It was a really special morning.

Always check dates and times and book ahead.
